A catch-all feature that is activated for a specific email mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. In other words, if you disable an email address and someone still sends an email message to it, or to any mistyped address under the exact same domain name, you will receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason, which could be vital in case you are running a business, for example. Since you may start receiving junk messages, you can use the catch-all feature with email filters so as to get only real messages in your inbox. Only one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

Configuring a catch-all e-mailbox will be really easy if you have a cloud plan with us. You can enable this option through our powerful, albeit simple-to-work-with Email Manager, which is an indivisible part of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you’ll manage your shared hosting account. You will find all the email addresses that you have created shown in alphabetical order and on the right side of each one of them there will be a small "Catch-all" icon, which will instantaneously reveal to you whether a certain mailbox gets all the email messages pertaining to a certain domain or not. With one single click on the icon you can enable or disable this option at any moment. If there’s enabled email forwarding or if a different mailbox has already been set up as a catch-all one for a specific domain, you’ll get a warning text message from our system. The latter won’t disable/replace anything automatically and without your permission.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

A catch-all address can be configured with a few mouse clicks if you have a semi-dedicated plan with our company. The semi-dedicated hosting account will be managed through our custom-created Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will be able to create mailboxes under any domain hosted there. To activate the catch-all option for a particular mailbox, you’ll have to click on the icon with the exact same name, which will be to the right of each mailbox. Deactivating this feature can be achieved in the exact same manner and will not take more than a click either. In case the catch-all functionality has already been activated for a given domain, you will get a warning notice. The same is valid if the mailbox that you want to be a catch-all one has email forwarding activated, as our system will never edit or disable any feature automatically.
